This was a neat store. There was so much stuff everywhere. Books, Guides, Figures, Comics. Just a moderately sized haven of everything pop culture collectible. The guy behind the counter was very kind as well. Everything I looked at was reasonably priced as well. I stopped by traveling through but would consider stopping here again on the way past it.
Heroes and dragons is a great shop. Jorg is a definitely a qorky dude, BUT it works! The store has some of the most unique toys, I have seen. The comic selection is wide and deep. Whether you’re looking for golden age or modern, Heroes has it. I would recommend going if nothing else to bother jorg and pet shadow.
Love this store. Here is the deal. Free Comic Book Day 2019 is the last day for Heroes and Dragon at this location. The shop will move a mile down the street to a larger building and better parking. Honestly this store has been in my life for years. The original owner closed shop but it was reopened and honestly it is better than before. If you are in the area you need to stop by just to see the massive collection of GI Joe Star Wars and Transformers toys they have. Yorg has been great for the comic community and he has refused to let the shop die. Graphic novels are half off and they do a great job of keeping new comics in stock. I can't wait till the new shop is open!!
This place has it all Books, Vintage, Modern, comics and a plethora of toy/collectable selections. The owner is passionate and really cool. I saw some gems in here. Easily in the top 5 of stores I have been to across the country. I say that because on top of the selection, the pricing is reasonable.
Poor poor customer service. Prices marked incorrect and when confronted the owner twist it as if I put a second and Charles 1dollar sticker on comics going for 2$. Now one in the series was marked 5 and had the sticker on it stating 1 dollar.they would not honor the inconvenience stating “someone” wanted it cheaper but they were cheap for kids. I am happy this occurred before I walked the entire store for gifts. They lost a good customer today over a 3 dollar pricing issue they should be on top off.shame on the owner he made it clear he thinks his store is by far the best ha still lacking customer service I have pictures I am reporting as it was almost as if I wasn’t spending enough why I gladly take my business elsewhere oh and at flea market they blow that store out the water. I have proof phone recorded entire conversation with owner.
Always and probably the best comic book store in Columbia. We come here often for good reads and of course free comic book day! Can't wait to see what their new location will look like!

Awesome place! Was welcomed immediately upon entering the store! Also, was 1st asked "was there anything that I can help you with?". I thought, man I haven't had that type of welcoming in a retail store in a long time! I soon found out that the guy 👦 I was talking to was the owner! I had some comics that I wanted to get rid of & he told me to bring them in & he would ✔ them out, so I did just that. While he checked them out I walked around the store, haven't been there since 2019, things had changed a lot! The store is awesome, with how thing's are set up now!! He offered me a fair price for the comics & we talked awhile about comics, action figures & other things. If you are a comic, toy, anything of this and that nature, you most definitely need to come here!
This place is part store and part museum. The people that run it are in it for the love of the hobby. I feel fortunate to have a store this cool in Columbia. Every time I go in there I am in awe of the cool stuff they got in since I was in last time. Beware though, especially if you're nostalgic on 80s-90s toys this place is dangerous for your wallet. But it's all really fairly priced. 10/10 awesome business.
